RE: SEM and SEO
Both the terms are very different from the each other even if they are related to the search engine. SEO is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines. Search engine marketing, or SEM, is a form of Internet marketing that seeks to promote websites by increasing their visibility in search engine result pages.

RE: SEM and SEO
Very nice question, people often get confused about this both. But they both are very different from each other, Search Engine Marketing(SEO) is very broad term to describe, in real no SEM campaign is complete without SEO. Search Engine Marketing (SEM) involves advertising and target marketing in order to draw traffic to websites.
SEO involves: 1. On-Site Optimization and 2. Off-Site Optimization where SEM involves: 1. OST MONEY to generate the traffic and 2. Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising. r4i sdhc |
